Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and the privacy of your members.

This Privacy Policy will be continually assessed against new technologies, business practices and our customers’ or “Sponsors'” needs. IndustryNewsletters (IN), a division of HomeActions, LLC, reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy. If we do make a material change or revise, we will provide notification of the change at least thirty business days before the change takes effect and will include directions for how you can respond to the revisions and or change. If the change is less restrictive, you will have the option to not agree with said change and we will be bound by the Privacy Policy exclusive of the change.


A “Sponsor” is a professional service provider that has subscribed to one of our services, has paid a fee and has access to all features and benefit of the IN platform that they opted for.

A “Member” is an enrolled consumer that has either joined a mailing list on their own accord on the Sponsors’ various platforms or was enrolled by an IN Sponsor.

Collected Information

IndustryNewsletters, a division of HomeActions, LLC, is the owners of Sponsor information collected on the IN Sign up Page. IN collects information from our Sponsors at several different points to customize the email newsletter for the Sponsor. For example, Sponsors can append the data we have on them to include links back to their website or to Social Media URLs.

We require our Sponsors to provide us information. We ask for contact and account information, such as name, address; email address and phone number in addition to financial billing information as in address or credit card number if applicable. Should a Sponsor originate from the marketing efforts of certain other websites, Sponsor information is shared with such other entity but not any Member list or member email addresses.

Collection of Email Addresses

In order to use the IN system, a Sponsor uploads (one at a time or in bulk) email addresses and names for their clients, prospects, referral sources and/or employees. This information is then stored in the IN System for subsequent distribution of email newsletters on behalf of the Sponsor. When a member of the Sponsor receives the email from IN EN, they have the ability to update their profile by adding personal information to the IN database. All of this information is optional for the user. At any time, members may be asked to join certain subsets of the database based on their interests. IN then has the right to deliver content specific to these members that have opted into certain groups.

IN will not distribute, sell or share Sponsor provided email addresses. The number of Aggregated/Total members in IN databases may be shared with outside parties. Each Sponsor can opt into contests or other activities should they want to share the numbers and locations of their members.


Sponsors may choose to stop receiving or participating in our newsletter service at any time by sending an email request to Members can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe Link on any email newsletter received.

Information Use

When members (clients, prospects, referral sources and/or employees) of the Sponsor click on the “Full Article” link or click through to read the information contained within each article delivered in the emails or click on any banner graphic, the click information about that member’s reading profile is available to the Sponsor in the form of reports. The purpose of this information is to allow the Sponsor to review the reading pattern of its members and thereby enhance its marketing efforts to those members.

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or Sponsor Reports, to create a database of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual members that detail their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users’ personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to assist Sponsor’s in their communications and marketing to a user. We do not share your profile with third parties.


As part of our desire to offer and provide customization and personalized services, IN uses “cookies” to secure Sponsor transaction activities and enhance the performance of the Site and the service. A cookie is a small identifier data that is sent to your browser from an IN web server and stored on the Sponsor’s computer’s hard drive. IN uses session ID cookies. For this type of cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.

Third Party Advertising

IN does not incorporate any paid or free advertising directed at the Member. The Sponsor can, at their discretion, add text or graphic links to any website. This transference is out of our control and the Sponsor is responsible for any activity generated on the third party site.

Web Beacons

Our Web pages contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) and are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our site is used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which emails and links have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of our customer communications and marketing campaigns.


IN takes every precaution to protect our Sponsor and Member information. When Sponsors submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected online and off-line.

Your IN account information and profile is unique to you and password-protected so that, other than IN employees who specifically need to know for maintenance or service-related purposes, only you or those you have shared that information with you have access to this information. For security purposes, online orders, including name, address, and credit card information, are encrypted with SSL or Secure Socket Layer technology.

While IN uses SSL encryption to protect online orders, we also strive to do everything in our power to ensure and protect user information off-line. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our customer support representative or our invoicing clerk) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are added; our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our user’s information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. All these safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of data.

Correcting and Updating Your Information

If a Sponsor’s personally identifiable information changes (such as telephone number, email address, postal address or zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate the Sponsor’s personally identifiable information. This can be accomplished on the IndustryNewsletters website by selecting the “Contact Us” tab and indicating the updated information.

Should the Sponsor elect to terminate their service with IN, our organization will place the Sponsor’s account on hold (disabling newsletter launches) for thirty days. At the end of the period, IN will delete all email addresses and client lists from databases relevant to that Sponsor.
